Mark your calendar!  Kaweah Delta District Hospital, Tulare County Medical Society and PFLAG Tulare-Kings Counties are sponsoring an evening symposium on LGBTQI healthcare issues.  Originally scheduled for May, speaker conflicts have caused it to be rescheduled for Monday, September 20.  Speakers will include Dave Reynolds from The Trevor Project, a patient, and Dr. Bill Reiner, a urologist/psychiatrist who has cared for transgender and intersex individuals.  I will be the moderator.  It is free to healthcare providers and the general public, a dinner will be provided.  Information on registration will be available later.
