California News (KFSN) -- An initiative for next year's ballot would make divorce "illegal" in California -- and it's now passed its first legal hurdle. The secretary of state's office has given the green light to let supporters of the measure begin gathering signatures. The initiative would amend the state constitution to ban married couples from legally divorcing. Couples would still be allowed to annul their marriages. READ MORE
